Rural Restoration · Sohna

Bringing green back to the land that sustains us.

Where rain-fed land and rural communities depend on the health of the surrounding landscape, restoring native vegetation means protecting much more than trees.

The Purpose

Healthy land begins with healthy green cover.

The Sohna rural belt is a landscape where people and nature remain closely connected. Restoring native vegetation around rain-fed land can help create stronger, greener spaces while supporting the communities that depend on them.

The Story

When we protect the land, we protect the people living on it.

Nature and communities are connected.

For communities living close to the land, environmental health is not an abstract idea. Soil, water, vegetation and livelihoods are part of the same story.

Restoration takes time.

Native vegetation needs time to establish itself. The goal is not to create a temporary green patch, but to help the landscape move towards a healthier and more resilient future.

Growing something that lasts.

With more than 3,400 trees planted since 2022, this project represents a long-term effort to bring green cover back to the rural landscape and protect the natural systems around it.

A greener landscape means more than more trees.

It means stronger natural spaces, healthier surroundings and a future where people and nature can continue to grow together.
