We stay for the years that matter.
Protect Tree Foundation began with a simple frustration: thousands of saplings go into the ground across Delhi NCR every monsoon, and almost nobody checks whether they're still standing the following summer. We built our foundation around the one number that actually matters — survival, not just the plantation count in a press release.
Today we still run plantation drives, but we don't stop there — every tree we plant gets a record, a caretaker, and a follow-up visit for at least three years.

From sapling to survivor — the four steps we never skip
Plant
We identify barren or degraded land and plant native, climate-suited species — not whatever's easiest to source.
Protect
Tree guards, fencing and a local caretaker are assigned before the first monsoon, when most young saplings are lost.
Track
Every tree gets a record. Field visits log survival, height and health for years, not just the week after planting.
Empower
Local communities are trained and paid to maintain the land, so protection outlasts any single donation.

Your sapling is planted, geo-tagged, and logged in our field records — the same tracking system behind the "Field Record" card you saw earlier on this site. Our team visits the site and records its health for at least 3 years, not just the week after planting. Gift a Tree lets you plant a tree in someone's name — for a birthday, an anniversary, a memorial, or a corporate milestone.
